Two friends of mine and me are working on a new version of our website about diving. It’s just been online… http://www.plongeon.net. Main subject will be (obviously) olympics games begining tomorrow. The whole site is held by wordpress and I’m using several plugins for adsense, analytics, sitemaps, forums, photo galleries, backups… Feel free to take a look and send me some feedbacks on it !

I just heard (on Lefigaro blog) about a youtube video (posted in 2006) which is the biggest buzz actually… A guy got paid by a Gum company to travel around the world and to shoot video of himself dancing in every part of the world.

The result is a 4mn long video watching our post-man sending the world his peace message (« we’re all part of the same world, so come on, dance ! »). This is a peaceful way to start up your day…

It’s been about a week or two since one of my websites about photo gallery was taken as a target to mass spamming on the comment module. I’ve setted up the approuval configuration so all the mess i receive is not published dynamically online. I can now clean my database from time to time off this shit.

I think it can be a good way to work against those spams to publish all the ip of the compromised servers used in the attack. Hope some admin can find its own server in this list (by searching google !?) and get rid of that stupid bot… Continue reading…

Hi all,

I’ve just figured out that Mac Os X has a exciting utility available from command line : textutil. I used it to convert hundreds of tabs (from .doc format) to txt. As a result you can now access more than 950 tabs (as of today) directly from the guitarexp webiste without downloading any .doc, .pdf or .zip files… happy guitaring !
